Neubodi Bra Drive

1 in 4 women in Malaysia confessed to owning more than 10 bras in their lingerie drawers, with more than 80% of them admitting that their unworn bras are either brand new, or the sizing simply does not fit anymore. Having said that, only 15% of women ever recycle or donate these bras away. The rest, goes into landfills, giving textiles one of the poorest recycling rates of any reusable materials.



WHAT IS THE NEUBODI BRA DRIVE? 

Each year, Neubodi collects second-hand bras from women nationwide. The second-hand bras collected are siphoned out accordingly. The good wearable bras go to rural areas and villages in East Malaysia, as well as to third world countries such as Africa and Nepal. The unusable bras then will be recycled into fibres or fuel to power cement kilns and industrial boilers.

The philosophy behind the program is to ensure that no bras go to waste, as the bras are given a second life, either to another woman-in-need or as recycled materials.

I am fully support this program. Unfortunately, there is no place in Melaka for the program. Why don't you expand the area network across the country? So the others can get participate.

Hi,
I understand that the Neubodi Bra Drive 2018 collection period is over, therefore I would like to enquire if it is still possible to drop off the second-hand bras in certain locations or I would need to wait for next year's campaign collection period?
